Homegrown Rectangular Food Platter

Okiyo Made in SA wood products are handcrafted in KwaZulu-Natal by persons who have been employed and upskilled. Because these platters are crafted of natural wood, no two are same, and each has its own personality expressed through texture, pattern, and color. Natural, food-safe oils have been used to treat these wooden plates. Imperfections are part of what distinguishes each one. The imperfections in the wood may also influence the branding on the plates. Trees are a natural and renewable resource that collect CO2 from the environment and store it in the form of carbon in wood. The wood used to construct these products comes from trees that have been grown in a sustainable manner.

This item should not be washed in the dishwasher. Instead, use warm, soapy water to clean it and a towel to dry it. Please do not leave it in water to soak.
To protect the wood from drying out over time, treat it with linseed or vegetable oil on a regular basis.
