Disney And Stella McCartney Team Up For Second Fashion Merch Collaboration
The Stella McCartney Presents Disney Fantasia! collaboration comes after the International Women's Day and Disneyland Paris effort in March, in which Stella let Minnie wear the pants in designing the first-ever pantsuit for Mickey's female sidekick. The Fantasia! concept was inspired by McCartney's enthusiasm for the cult-classic animated film, combining fashion and fantasy for collector's products.
Given that Mickey's biggest followers are believed to be under the age of 18, a Stella McCartney Kids capsule collection will be released this fall. The recent flurry of Disney fashion partnerships, on the other hand, implies differently. Advanced bodycon knits shimmer with PVC-free sequins, reinterpreting the film's night skies and Summer 2022's brightness.
Recycled nylon cheesecloth jackets, short overalls and pants, organic cotton jersey sweatshirts, and little vests with Fantasia patterns all have a sustainable sportiness about them. Bags in the shape of Mickey's head and the traditional Falabella bags adorned with a rainbow Mickey are among the accessories available.
